Today I woke up and it was 7 am. I thought hmm i wonder why my husband didn't wake me up to pack his lunch. Around 11 am I called him and he said that he would be home by noon. He came home and ate lunch and went golfing. I decided to pack the kids up and go yard saling and enjoy the 70 degree weather. 2 yard sales and 60 cents later I have a harmonica, waterless discinfect, and a pair of short to sun bathe in as i weed my flowerbeds and plants some flowers. When we got home Zebbie insisted we go on a walk. This worked out well because I am trying to get in better shape. He argued vehemetly with me that we did not need the double stroller he would walk. I told him he always gets tired of walking. He said "Huh UH" I said "Uh HUh" And so the argument went. Suddenly I realized I was arguing with a 2 year old. So I said Zebbie be quiet, you can walk for a while and then get in the stroller when your feet hurt. He recanted.
So I thought I'd go for one of those long walks, big mistake, the kids fussed and I am zonked. As we walked down the trail and zebbie kept wining,"I am tired of sitting in the stroller" I said why don't we sing a song. First we sang Only a boy name David, but then he started singing his own song. He said, you like that mom, and i replied yup, so he began singing louder. Suddenly i realized he was singing who did, who did, who did, who did, who did, poop outside, side, side side, to the tune of who did swallow jo, jo jo jo. *sigh* He was very pleased with the song he made up. But I guess the walk was worth it because on the way back we found a mushroom. Zebbie's first one and zeb thinks huntin mushrooms is so much fun. So when his daddy comes home from golf. He will be very pleased with the mushroom.
In other news, I just made my 1st batch of meadow tea. Oh the bliss of summer, and I hear a lawn mower buzzing.
Well I think I am going to fight the sleep that wants to come and go work outside. Maybe a little tea will wake me up tootaloo
